As part of its commitment to preparing tomorrow's leaders, The CEO Institute is pleased to announce the continuation of its Future CEO Scholarship Fund for Women in 2016.
This $47,300 initiative will fund five 12 month scholarships in The CEO Institute's Future CEO program in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth. Applications are invited exclusively from women in leadership positions who work in organisations where the CEO or senior executive is a current member of The CEO Institute.
In January 2016, The CEO Institute was pleased to award Future CEO Scholarships in each of the 5 regions it was offered.

Scholarships that help women make it to the top
The Future CEO program is a certification course that equips future business leaders with the skills, knowledge and contacts needed to lead a business. It is structured around peer groups of up to 16 men and women drawn from non-competing industries who learn with and from each other in a stimulating and supportive environment.
Each group is led by a highly-qualified chairman-facilitator with both academic and business experience. Members also have the opportunity to ‘buddy’ with a leading member of The CEO Syndicate program during their development.

"The Future CEO group is genuinely a meeting of minds. It provides a monthly open forum for discussing all attributes of business and its challenges amongst other professionals from various industries. It provides an opportunity to invest in your professional development and truly set the path to becoming a CEO. Our Chairman, Professor David Gilbert offers insight and inspiration, having previously faced most of the challenges that are brought up for discussion." - Adelina Carnevale, General Manager, OnSite Recruitment Pty Ltd
In making these scholarships available, The CEO Institute recognises that women continue to be significantly under-represented in senior business and public leadership roles in Australia. Nurturing the best leadership talent available, regardless of gender, is an important part of the Institute’s charter, and the scholarships will hopefully go some way towards creating a more even and diverse playing field.
Successful applicants will be decided by a Selection Panel comprised of The CEO Institute’s Chief Executives from each of the Scholarship regions in which they are offered.
“I congratulate The CEO Institute on their announcement of five new scholarships for the Future CEO program. As Federal Minister for Women, I am delighted to endorse programmes and initiatives that support women into positions of leadership and influence. The Federal Government is committed to delivering positive change because when women are empowered, it is good for women, good for families and good for our economy.”
